During the SS22 season, the “palm” in Palm Angels’ name and logo is the perfect emblem for bright sunny days, breezy beaches and freedom. It is the brand’s tribute to the state of California and West Coast way of life. The palm represents a mindset that is uncontrived, free-wheeling, averse to pre-set notions and schemes. For SS22, a new iteration of the Palm Angels ethos focuses on a variety of garments, all purposeful and pragmatic. Creative Director Francesco Ragazzi allows those who delve into his world to do so as they please: mixing and matching according to one’s personal tastes without rigid fashion preconceptions. Archetypal shapes have been tweaked with unmistakable Palm Angels flair: Ragazzi envisions a collection of real clothes for real situations, keeping volumes loose to allow maximum freedom of movement, comfort and ease. The color palette is neutral and classic, with the occasional playful accent.
